Clearly I haven’t written much lately. But I do have photographs, at least. Last night was my first ever prom:

Second breakfast

Does anyone else eat a second breakfast? For me, as a morning writer, a second breakfast is vital – usually some time before 11am. Energy is flagging, the stomach takes allegiance with the mind’s tiredness… Refuel.
I think my favourite choice for such a second breakfast is a sardine salad. Today I made one with:
